• Click here to find flyers requesting volunteers needed at the McHenry County Fair Aug. 4-8^th. Please post or share the flyers at your churches with the permission of the pastors. Scheduled times are from (9:30 am to 12noon; 12noon to 4pm; 4pm to 8pm) Wednesday, Aug. 4 through Sunday, August 8^th.

• We are in need of a 9x12ft. rug for the booth and bottled water. Any assistance to help at this year’s fair booth is greatly appreciated. Last year we gave out over 600 balloons to the children and shared 1^st WAY’s services with all who stopped by the booth.

  • The life of the baby as well as the mother

• We further believe that there is never a reason to offer destruction as an answer to an unplanned pregnancy

• We are a person-to-person organization based on the belief that no problem is so great that it warrants destruction of an innocent life

• If you decide to keep your baby, we are prepared to offer you support in various ways including a baby layette containing many things a new baby needs such as:

  • diapers

  • clothing

  • bedding and

  • bottles

• If necessary, we can locate a shelter home where you can stay for the duration of your pregnancy

• If you choose adoption, we will refer you to one of several licensed and reputable adoption agencies in the area

• Information on pregnancy and fetal development

• Ongoing counseling and emotional support for support for clients and their concerned family members and friends

• Parenting classes

• Shelter homes for expectant mothers

• Referrals to resources and other agencies

• Support, friendship and love as you go through an extremely emotional time in your life
